GCU Racing announce sponsorship with Ansys for 2025

GCU Racing are pleased to announce their sponsorship with Ansys for 2025.

 Ansys is a global engineering simulation software company which helps engineers design and test products virtually, saving time and costs.

Ansys offers tools for structural analysis to check material strength, fluid dynamics to study fluid flow, and electromagnetics to analyse electrical fields.

They also support thermal analysis for heat management and Multiphysics to combine different simulations allowing for more accurate results.

At GCU Racing, Ansys provides us with their software which allows us to simulate the loads that components on our car will experience, ensuring that each component has been designed correctly.

This allows the team to simulate designs to then purchase the correct material needed manufacture them, rather than having to purchase and manufacture the component and then figure out if it’ll withstand the forces.
